Becoming a professional football player is hard work and requires a lot of dedication and hard work. Being skillful is not good enough – you must be able to get noticed as well. Clubs put scouts around to search for talent elsewhere and it is wise to get an agent if you want to become professional in order to stand the best chance of learning how you can be seen.

You will have to be at the peak of physical fitness to stand any chance and getting a place in a youth team is the first step. Players such as Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Gary Neville all famously worked their way up the ladder to get to where they are today and getting noticed is the only chance you have to move forward.

Find out about local tryouts and go and compete in them as many clubs send scouts to the tryouts to see if they can see anyone of any interest.

As well as turning up to local tryouts there is also the chance to try out at a regional status and this will certainly gain you more recognition.

Turning into a professional player will take a lot of grit and it is likely that you will be turned down many times before you get to where you want to. Big teams such as Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are notoriously hard to get into but with good training, dedication and skills you can keep trying out to make an impression and if you are as good as you think you are then you will finally get noticed.
